By train

Travelling to Istanbul Park by train can be a comfortable option, particularly if you are already in Türkiye. While there is no railway station directly at the circuit, several rail connections bring you close enough to continue the final part of the journey by taxi, shuttle or local transport.

Turkish State Railways (TCDD)

• Service overview: Türkiye’s national railway operator, TCDD Taşımacılık, runs intercity and high-speed train services linking major cities such as Istanbul, Ankara, Konya and Eskişehir. High-speed trains offer modern carriages, air conditioning, luggage space, and onboard catering on some routes.
• Comfort: High-speed services provide reserved seating, good legroom and generally smooth travel, making them a convenient alternative to flying or driving.

From Ankara

• Route: High-speed YHT trains connect Ankara with Istanbul several times daily. Travel time is roughly 4 to 4.5 hours depending on the specific service.
• Arrival station: Most services arrive at Istanbul Söğütlüçeşme or Halkalı stations. From Söğütlüçeşme, you can continue towards the Asian side using the Marmaray rail, metro, or taxi to reach the Istanbul Park area.

From other Turkish cities

• Konya and Eskişehir: Both cities have high-speed rail links to Istanbul with straightforward transfers to the Asian side of the city.
• Izmir: Train connections are available but usually require a transfer in Ankara or Istanbul. Flying may sometimes be faster, though rail remains an option for those preferring ground travel.

Final transfer to Istanbul Park

• Nearest rail access: Pendik and Kartal districts on Istanbul’s Asian side are among the closest major rail-connected areas to the circuit.
• Getting to the circuit: From these districts, taxis, ride-sharing services or possible event shuttle buses typically take 20 to 40 minutes, depending on traffic. Always allow extra time on race weekend due to congestion.
