Istanbul Park is a modern Formula 1 circuit located on the Asian side of Istanbul, near the Tuzla district. Since opening in 2005, it has built a strong reputation as one of the most technical and enjoyable tracks on the F1 calendar, praised by drivers for its flowing design and demanding corner combinations.
The 5.338 km layout runs anti-clockwise and features 14 corners, blending fast sweeping sections with technical turns and notable elevation changes. Its most famous section, the multi-apex Turn 8, is regarded as one of the greatest corners in Formula 1, placing heavy demands on both car balance and driver precision. The circuit offers several overtaking opportunities while still rewarding technical skill and strategic racing.
